History of Fort Munro

Fort Munro is a single hill resort of Southern Punjab, also called Murree of Punjab. The town was founded by Sir Robert Groves Sandeman in the 19th century and they develop it as a summer hill town. It was named after Colonel George Munro, a British Army officer. It is also known as Tuman Leghari, Loilaresir, and Anari Mool. One name of Fort Munro is Dada Koh, the Grandfather of Mountain.
